  1. Good, I'd be pissed if I wasted that $.88
  2. Is this ok to use? I couldn't find any 70%.....
  3. Holy hell that came out nice. Really makes me feel better about going with the PC over the Flex for now.
  4. Not sure what all she ordered from the list, but she sent me a tracking number for a package coming out of Colorado that weighs 17.8 pounds
  5. Any advantages to using the PC to apply BG as opposed to my trusty red and blue applicator?
  6. Yeah, I could maybe swing up to $200 without the wife caring too much but I don't think I could get away with $1,000 The X-Series still feel like they're too big for what I want. I found this one that seems interesting, $178 and 2,700 cleaning units. I dunno, maybe I'll hit up some home improvement stores after work tomorrow an see if they carry Karcher so I can get an idea of how big these are. http://www.pressurewashersdirect.com/Karcher-K3.48M-Pressure-Washer/p1466.htm
  7. Haha, thanks! It's already been getting the Adam's treatment since I bought it in February, in that pic she's wearing QS, BG and Americana. There's some swirling there, probably from the dealership since it was there for around 4 months before I found it, but nothing crazy. I'm pretty confident that the PC will be able to take care of it but if not it just gives me an excuse to get a Flex.
  8. My birthday is coming up next saturday, and I've been telling my wife that I want some more detailing supplies so I can polish my Charger before a car show that day. Rather than let her try to guess what I need I just sent her this list. I figure if something's worth doing, it's worth over-doing Basic Porter Cable Kit Orange and blue hand applicators Revive MSS and pad combo Brilliant Glaze pad 4" Focus pad kit 4" Focus Brilliant Glaze pad 2 Waterless Wash towels 16oz bottle & foaming sprayers Here's Black Betty, the ultimate recpient of all this product.....
  9. I'm starting to look at getting a pressure-washer and foam-lance. I have the foam-lance and adapter fittings picked out from PWMall but I was wondering about the pressure-washer I have picked out. K 2.050 | Kärcher North America Home & Garden I want something that's electric and very portable, and this seems to fit the bill perfectly. It's only going to be used for car washing, so I don't need anything that's able to strip concrete or anything like that. My concern is that the unit is only rated at 1.3GPM and I've read that a higher flow is neccessary for it to foam well. Thoughts?
  10. Sounds like MSS is the way to go then. I'll be getting Black Betty there ready for a car show and I want people to think they can go swimming in the paint.
  11. This is kinda how I've been looking at it..... What about looks? Any added visual qualities with the MSS compared to the QS?
  12. I just got my Americana bag, huge improvement over the old shopping-bag I was using. Ignore the gray bottle with the white and red sprayer..... I'm probably going to have to get another one when I get my polishing equipment.
  13. I tried the Brilliant Glaze on my stripes this past weekend, can't believe how much better they came out! I've been washing them with the rest of the car about once every 1.5 to 2 weeks and it was crazy how much dirt and other junk came off. No before pic, but I'm going to use this as an excuse to post this picture again
  14. Right now I have Quick Sealant followed by Brilliant Glaze then Americana. My wife is buying me a polisher (was thinking PC at first, but now might just go balls-out and ask for a Flex) for my birthday in a couple weeks but if the MSS is just going to last longer I kinda think I'll just stick with the Quick Sealant for now as it's just soooo easy to use. I've had it on my car for 2 months now and as far as I can tell it's working just as good as when I first applied it. Here's a pic from this past weekend's wash/glaze/wax session.
  15. What are the advantages of the MSS over the QS? I think I read here that the MSS will last longer, but are there any more?
  16. Probably just gonna wash it and hit it with some Detail Spray. I'm going to a car show on June 9th and I'm going to be doing a full detail (including PC) before that so I don't wanna spend too much time on it now if I'm just going to be re-doing everything in a couple weeks.
  17. The cart is definitely on my shopping list but right now it's just too impractical.
  18. That's another thing, I really have no idea what to expect with the hand products. I've never seen anyone post a before and after using just them.
  19. I know my Charger is enormous and weighs over 2 tons but I didn't think it was as big as a truck Anyway, I've been looking at prices and I'm thinking about going with the PC now but here's why I'm leary... If my car was all hood and roof I wouldn't think twice, but when I start thinking about all the weird places like between the spoiler and deck-lid I start to get iffy and shy away from doing it
  20. It still hasn't warmed-up much down here but thanks for that tip, I'd never seen that thread before.
  21. Ignore that gray bottle with the white and red sprayer I got tired of hearing my shopping bag full of Adam's bottles rolling around the trunk of my Charger so I finally ordered the bag Next up I'm gonna try out some hand-polishing before a car show in the beginning of June then depending on how that goes I may be upgrading to the PC
