So I currently have a Griots 3” and was maybe looking at getting the SK duo. Sell me on why I should get the SK mini versus just getting the 15. Do the SK’s need a washer mod?

Guys, this is not fishy or BS at all.
Once an order tag is printed, the order could be anywhere in the process/warehouse. It could be in the stack of tags, it could be on a cart getting items picked, or it could already be boxed up and on a pallet under other boxes. The orders are not tracked through the fulfillment process, so it would be a literal easter egg hunt to find it. Having someone in shipping spend time searching for an order, out of hundreds of orders on a given day, to add an item, could take a long time, and would slowdown processing on everyone else's order.
I know forgetting to add a product happens, I've done that myself more than once, but if the order has already started fullfillment, then you just have to get it on your next order.
I'm late on this, but this is BS. For a company that prides itself on customer service, this answer is unacceptable. If it's an issue with the order system, spend less time with new stickers and more time finding a better system. On a picking cart is much different than wrapped on a pallet in the bottom layer.

Do it. I won't give up my sidekick even though I have a MBR. The sidekick is the perfect interior blower. Use it all the time. I'll also use it if I just want to dry some wheels or whatever. Endless uses. Both machines have a place in the shop.
Now that I got rid of it I agree! When I bought my MB I thought I'd have no use anymore for the sidekick
-
I had a sidekick, then picked up a MB and sold the sidekick. I've been thinking of picking up another sidekick just because sometimes it's easier having a smaller blower than dragging the MB hose all around the garage.

I like that Adams has that small company feel, and it's a reason I don't mind supporting them. Are they perfect, no, but no company is. I like this video because on other forums whenever Adams is mentioned people always say it's just rebottled CG.

To me, it's almost a dead-on match to Andes candy mints
It's fairly potent but smells great, just the right amount!
Which would be awesome! You guys have something with the seasonal DS scents. Nobody else does it that I know of, and it's just kind of something fun. I hope you guys do the apple again this year!

Has anybody closer to the warehouse received theirs yet? I'm curious on thoughts about the scent

Normal and fine. The rotors will clean themselves with use. The only way to retain clean rotors while washing wheels is to take the wheel off to clean.

The car wouldn't smell, just the wax and your garage while applying. I just found it odd the waxes didn't have delightful smells like the rest of the line.
-
I was just thinking the other day that for all the wonderful smells that Adams gives their products, none of the paste waxes really have a defining scent. Sure, they're not odorless, but it kind of surprises me they don't smell fantastic! I have other waxes that straight up smell like candy, which I'd be lieing if I said I didn't open periodically to just take a sniff.

I would think you'd want to skip coating the lens. How would you get it off if there was a defect?

I used to use detail spray as a drying agent. It added a little gloss back to last between washes.
Now I don't use it so often since I air dry. I try to touch the vehicle as little as possible with a towel to dry it.
Even with the master blaster I try to go back over with a detail spray wipe. Just cleans up anything the master blaster missed.

I should specify I'm looking for the new Americana
-
As the title states, anyone have one they would be interested in trading? I have a 16oz of leather conditioner, and a can of quick sealant. Both with maybe a couple uses, still pretty much full. I'm more than happy to take a pic of the conditioner level if anyone requires.

My white car is a summer toy so I've actually stopped sealing it and just throw some wax on it. I liked the old Americana, I'm sure the new stuff is just as good!
-
Obviously the wax that is specifically made for white cars - duh
Don't say that....I do have some wax that is supposed to be for white cars. I just bought it because well, it was a different wax to try. Just as there are a myriad of waxes "for" black cars
-
Do you have friends or family that have cars with dirty wheels?
-
Good to hear Dan! I know multicolored wax doesn't stand up well so just wanted to check. Everybody always said good things about the old patriot and I didn't get a chance to get some before it was discontinued. Maybe I'll treat myself to the new patriot for my bday next month....though I also don't have any new Americana yet either!
-
Actually surprised there isn't a thread devoted to the new patriot yet....
In the description it talks about the "red, white, and blue" theme. Is this just referencing the packaging or is the wax these colors?

I'm crossing my fingers for a Veteran's day unveiling.
I'd really love it if they did another run of the limited edition CNC-milled aluminum containers when they do. I missed out when they offered it before, and really wish I hadn't.
I believe they did a second run of the billet containers. I don't see them doing another.
What does patriot smell like anyway? I don't think I've ever seen anybody mention it
SK mini

Technically I could turn the griots into the mini-mini polisher with 1” etc pads. Does the SK mini work better than the GG3 though? It would be a good idea getting just the 15 and spending the extra on pads as the pads for my flex aren’t optimal for the SK
