  1. I know everybody poo-poos the cheap electric power washers from Walmart/ect, but will they last/suffice for just normal car washing duty? I don't have the space, money, or need right now for a proper pressure washer. I would just like a little better foaming action than my Gilmour foam gun provides.
  2. Well I usually lay it out until it dries mostly then put it back in the container. I've poked a bunch of holes in the lid so that there is air circulation if things aren't totally dry. I don't know how I put it back in brush side down.
  3. Went over the supplies since spring is around the corner, I found I somehow put away my boars hair wheel brush in it's container with the brush side down (wah wah). This is the result after months of laying like that. Can this be fixed or is the brush ruined?
  4. Chewy, have you looked into just getting the wheel recovered? Shouldn't run you $400+ unless maybe you upgrade to some premium leather. If you're able to take the wheel off yourself and just bring that in, you'd save even more money.
  5. I love my sidekick! Worth every penny! The vac/blo should be fine.....I just never cared for using the same machine for drying the car as well as picking up dirt and small bits of whatever.
  6. I always wash between uses, reusing just seems kind of "iffy" to me. I don't have the revitalizer, so I just use the old method of Woolite in the washing machine.
  7. I thought one of the sells with the shampoo was that if it dries it doesn't leave spots? I remember in one of the vids Adam even says to let it dry, don't rinse it off until done as the soap is ph balanced or something.
  8. I dry the car as usual with a great white, then go back over all the nooks and wheels with the sidekick. If you want, you can just go over the "spit" with the great white. I usually just blow it off the paint with the sidekick as it is usually just a small amount. With the paint all clayed/corrected/waxed, the water just blows right off!
  9. Does revive have a place in a machine process?
  10. I truly admire Adam's resolve to only offer "made in the U.S.A." products. Even if there may be better products elsewhere, I have no issue giving Adam's my business. Everybody that I've dealt with old and new have been nothing but a treat to work with. Businesses grow, and change happens. There is no other way about it. I'll miss seeing Dylan in the video's/ect, but I think some people are doing a major disservice to the people stepping into new roles. Give them some time, nothing happens over night. I just hope the quality and customer service remains the same. These things tend to go downhill as a company grows and has to place more of a focus on the bottom line.
  11. Without starting a new thread, how about the interior brushes?
  12. I learned the towel just won't stay nice.....but I think that's why it does a great job, it actually cleans the glass!
  13. I had a couple things arrive frozen last week. Let them thaw a day or two while shaking occasionally and they were good as new!
  14. I've noticed the promo code box will only allow for one code to be entered. This seems to be an issue when you have say a GC and a promo, or even two separate GC's.
  15. I don't know how long it's been unavailable, but why is the "chat now" not offered anymore? I know myself, I don't care for the "we'll get back to you soon" button. Sometimes there is a reply, and sometimes there isn't. It was nice to be able to get an instant answer when maybe a phone call wasn't available.
  16. What do you use for the IP wipe down? Are single softs ok to use or is a more general (new blues) better?
  17. When I used my Americana for the 1st time a couple weeks ago, I didn't wash the applicator afterwards. When I was done I just popped it back into the container and put the jar back into the fridge.
  18. The only thing I have that's bigger than 16oz is the green wheel cleaner since it was a daily special. I used a decent bit the first time I used it but I think I was using more than I needed so it should last allright now. Stopped by the local dealer today and they are out of...well...most things...lol! Now the decision is to wait until he gets his next order next week or just order myself. I need more DS and WW!
  19. Used the waterless wash tonight. Good lord is that an awesome product!! It's a wash in a bottle! I'm going to go through a lot of this stuff......I may look into a 5 gallon cause even the 1 gallon might not last long!
  20. I used the red/blue applicator. I like it by hand with the applicator because I can get into all the nooks and crannies.
  21. Car is a tad dusty/road grimy, definitely not too much for the waterless. My only concern is there are a few bugs on the front end. Is waterless wash acceptable on some stray bugs (not a "covering") or is it best to just regualr wash bugs away? Now that I have everything, I need to learn where the line is for the products.
  22. I use the two bucket with two pads, a jumbo and a regular just like Adam does in the DVD. I start top down with the jumbo until the "beltline", then switch to the regular to get the lower half.
  23. I have yet to use the waterless wash, but I also only have the 16oz of that. I think when I stop by the dealer I'm also going to have them order me a gallon of the waterless.
  24. 16oz doesn't go very far Did my first full detail the other weekend and bewtween drying agent, clay lube, and pad priming my bottle is just about gone. Have to stop by the local dealer this week and pick up a gallon refill.
