  1. The couple times I've ordered from Thompson, the shipping has been fast and everything arrived fine.
  2. I like the softness of the blue/red because you can squish it to get into tight/smaller spaces. I'm glad the manufacturer changed their mind and are making them again. Maybe the buying spree after they were announced discontinued persuaded them. I know I had stocked up on some that I could find still in stock
  3. I bought a tub a month ago but have yet to try it out. I've read the usually not so favorable opinions of waxes with "color enhancing" marketing but figured what the heck. I'll probably give it a go here in about a month as my last wax before winter hibernation. I also have some sample pots of the light paint geared Dodo Juice hard and soft waxes. My last LSP on the car I put on a coat of Americana, and topped it with a coat of Blackfire midnight sun. I was VERY pleased with the results!
  4. Liquid paint sealant I apply by machine. Any area I can't reach with the 4" pads, I go over by hand with quick sealant.
  5. I have the Gilmour Foammaster, it works as intended and I've never had any issue with it. When I get the chance, I'll be upgrading to the MTM foam canon and a pressure washer
  6. How long after it's in stock do you honor the sale price? A day? Two weeks? A month?
  7. Yes and no....plenty of stores don't offer sale prices on sold-out merch. While supplies last. Maybe just allow people the option of being put on backorder while a sale is going.
  8. You're having photobucket problems. None of the pictures are showing up.
  9. They'll be rolling out a new website soon, which is supposed to deal with issues such as this.
  10. Moderator that doesn't clean his tires?! Impeach!! Every wash for me is a two bucket, though not as often as the car sits in garage most of the time. So every wash they get a scrub with some APC and the fender/tire brush.
  11. I would think if you had a sensitivity to a certain chemical, it would be much easier to ask if their products contain that chemical, than ask for an MSDS. If you were concerned, couldn't you just wear whatever breathing apparatus while you were using quick sealant?
  12. I'd be curious what products you were interested in the MSDS for?
  13. Do you also request MSDS sheets for your toothpaste, dishwasher detergent, and Mountain Dew in your fridge?
  14. Adam's has no control over the hex applicators, the manufacturer has stopped making them. The patriot wax was a limited edition product where a portion of the proceeds went to the troops. Americana (or even buttery) will get you by just fine! If the local Wendy's keeps getting my order wrong, I don't get mad at Wendy's. I choose another Wendy's to get my food from.
  15. Just like Erik said, what company tells you they are reformulating something? Not everybody here has a need for the machine your advocating, which I'm guessing is the flex. I only have a PC, and it does perfectly fine for me. Adams still advocates using either a flex or PC, which is why they still sell pads for both.
  16. Strip down and polish/paint back........or just get them powder coated. If the clearcoat is failing, all you can do is make them look "better" IMO
  17. Is this easy to take off (APC) if I don't care for the results?
  18. I don't mind buying Craftsman as long as they still stand up to the warranty. If it breaks ten times, I just go up to Sears and they hand me a new one.
  19. The nerve of that waiter at the steakhouse telling me my steak wasn't done now! I told him McDonalds would have had me 10 burgers to my table by now!
  20. I bought two in the 4th sale. One will get clay lube, the other will either get detail or probably waterless.
  21. I'm curious about this as well. Even after you use quick sealant on wheels, couldn't you use buttery/Americana if you pleased?
  22. Maybe some all purpose with a brush? Maybe it's just a discoloration from the heat being so close to the exhaust....I dunno
  23. It seems harder to find any of the hex applicators, adams dealers or otherwise. I can find the revive blue most places, but the Americana, buttery, or even the blk/red are hard to find. Which sucks, because I like the hex grips a lot more than the ufo or microfiber for wax, glaze, and sealant applications.
