Debadging made EASY!!!

Great vid! I always put tar remover on before using the fishing line which would result in bits that would stay behind. Going to try it out this way next time. -

It looks like Adam's has one of the shots for the new detailing guide and catalogue. That is awesome.

Congrats on the new ride. Great job on those B-pillars. They're a real pain on the Tiggy. -

DWC versus the mom test
joffems replied to joffems's question in Wheels, Tires, Trim, & Undercarriage
Thanks! I really need to test out the paint decon power. Not surprisingly, the white GLK can really benefit from a decon at this point. Hopefully I will have some time to perform the test soon. -
I bought a bottle of DWC at release time and was impressed by how well it performed during my spring cleaning. At the same time, I knew that I had to subject the DWC to wheels in worse condition to really test its power. Enter my mothers GLK 350. I can't remember when I last cleaned her car for her, but I do know it was a while ago. The wheels were looking terrible and had a sufficient amount of brake dust caked on for what I feel is a solid cleaning power test. I sprayed DWC liberally and couldn't wait to see what the results would look like. 30 seconds later After some work with the lug nut brush and wheel wollies. Rinsed, but pre SuperVRT. Needless to say, I was very impressed. The wheels looked great with very limited effort and a gallon of DWC is on the list for my next order. Note: The hardest issue to deal with was the thick black brake dust soup coating the wheels as I used my brushes. I missed a few spots on each wheel due to the lack of vision. Unfortunately, I didn't have time for a second run through

The cable should be fine. USB 2.0 allows for a max cable length of 5 meters. In addition the limit is for data transfer limitations and not power.

Felt Wheel Wells - tire scrub brush edition
joffems replied to joffems's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
Thanks for all the feedback. I used my home pressure washer this time and it wasn't helping. I am currently using a 15 degree QC tip. I am going to see if I can find a 10 degree one for the dirty jobs. Unfortunately, the wheel woolie just wasn't getting the job done this time. May be that my patience was more of an issue than the tool. I have also been told that they're to reduce noise. I wonder how well they work for the task. Interesting idea. I may have to put a turbostick in my next order to try it out. -
Felt Wheel Wells - tire scrub brush edition
joffems posted a question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
My GTI has felt lined wheel wells which I'm sure many of you have unfortunately had to deal with. After driving over a lot of grass over the weekend I knew that the cleanup job was going to be a hassle. After tackling the grass with several tools I used before I decided I had to try something new. I grabbed my deep clean tire scrub brush and went at. The size of the brush made it really difficult to get into the wells, but once in it did a great job removing the grass. I am slightly concerned that the brush may damage the liner, but it makes cleaning them so easy that it is a risk I'm willing to take. Has anyone else used the tire brush on wheels like this? Anyone damaged them or ripped them out? -
Welcome bru.

Just be grateful you're not a sports fan in Toronto. Let's go Blue Jays.
