  1. I also work in my garage, you do the whole car then wipe down? my cars are black also and i am looking for that deep, still wet look. Do you use the white towel or Adams blue?
  2. Everyone says how it dosent last long. I must be the only one who thinks differently??? I think it gives some extra shine for at least a week.....anyone else feel this way. Also bugs and dirt just slide off when washing. I wash every week and BSG every other wash. I just wondered if anyone else thought it made a difference longer?
  3. A coule questions for guys who have used it. I get the thin coat thing but, 1) how long do you let dry 2) is the new white buffing towel needed or will the blue get same results 3) strip to new or go over MSW 4) I'm cheap, is it really that much better than MSW, I have a hard time with it being able to outshine MSW on black 5) BSG over top the next day?? or is it not needed Thanks!!
  4. A couple shots on the MF per side and then the hood. never on car, just on MF:cheers:
  5. dont have Americana yet, need to use up the MSW. Is APW really that much better??
  6. I'm thrilled with the look and BSG makes it even better but.......would layering a second coat of MSW do anything or just cloud up the black??
  7. I am really lovin this stuff on black. After letting it cure for 45 min I buff off and then hit a MF with a shot of detail spray and do car again.....WOW. Also anyone notice that car is so slick that at the next wash you have a hard time getting suds on car.
  8. I think it lasts about 3 washes, its hard to say, I use detail spray when drying and that gives a good shine also.
  9. I see your point, to a point. Adams stuff is better and worth more than Eagle one. BUT there comes a point where there can be no descernable difference. Adams stuff is great at a moderate cost. There are more expencive things out there with maybe a tiny bit better results. My point is the waxes for several thousands of dollars are in NO WAY justifiable, even at a microscopic level. To use your tool analogy, your craftsman tool is a quality tool at a good price, an S-K tool is a little better but at an increase in price that is reasonable. If a craftsman wrench was $50 and the S-K was $5000 it would be the same as these waxes. You say night and day difference....how, more durable, unlikely, more shine, unlikely, night and day difference if an obviuos difference......look at your ride after a good detail with Adams stuff, do you really think if you spent $10,000 on a wax you would say, that really was worth the cost, the difference is obvious????? Come on:willy:
  10. There is no way in the world that anyone can justify the prices you guys are putting out there. The cost of the car has no impact on the value of the wax! I dont but some of you detail professionally and I would bet alot that if one of you "pros" used this $10,000 product on say a new Z06 and used Adams stuff on an identical car another group of "pros" would not be able to tell the difference with the finished product....no way, no how.
  11. Am i the only one thinking it is insane to spend $1100 on wax, come on:lolsmack:
  12. Wow, thanks guys, I am using way to much! I'll try it with less
  13. Did the vette this weekend and about half way through the polishing process the pad would shoot out little balls of polish as it dried. How much polish do you use on the pad and how often do you put more on. I put a line around the pad about an 1/8 inch wide for each area, i.e. half the hood, rear quarter panel, door. Is that to much? The pad seemed to have alot in it at the end, am I wasting it, how far can you go with it?
  14. Maybe its the pollen in the air but I've been alternating between driving my black vette and my black DD and the vette has BSG on it and the DD dosent and the dust is WAY worse on the vette??? I will be detailing the DD this weekend and I'm hesitant to finish with BSG because of this. After each wash i use the detail spray drying system and the dust is minimal?????
  15. When I apply the MSW I set the PC on 3 and then just put it on black pad and spread it out, or do you work it over a panel for awhile?? I also let it dry for a couple hours? Its on black
  16. This stuff really makes the black look great:glasses:......then I drive it, wow does it attract the dust! Anything I can do differently?
  17. Will you be applying over MSW, and if so let me know how it works out!!!
  18. Is anyone having a lint issue with theirs? I just got a 4 pack and with my black cars I am getting lint???? I keep them seperated with only other microfiber and wash by hand and air dry.
  19. okay guys, how much is it and will it be available this month? I need to get the Vette ready for summer and I dont want to do it all and have to start over when the new product is out. Should I wait or get started
  20. So will this be a "by hand" product? durability like buttery or machine wax? Any product info?
