  1. I just opened a new bottle of the Paint Correcting Polish and used it for a 1-step correction. To my surprise it did not dust like the previous bottles. Is this a new formula?
  2. We needed more lighting and I didn't like the selection at the local store so we made our own. It is a overhead light bungee strapped to a dolly. It's sturdy and works great.
  3. I liked the Hampton. It was close to the restaurant and the show. It also seemed safe (I'm more worried about the car). What is the price difference in relation with the Holiday Inn? Holiday Inns are nice. As soon as you know let me know and I will make reservations.
  4. I am really liking the possibilities for this new product! I can't wait to pick some up at the GPC event.
  5. My favorite product from Adams is the Quick Sealant. I use that on the wheels, rockers, plastic, lights, and the front of the car when going on long trips. It is very durable and easy on/off. The car shampoo is another great product. The new formula seems more "slick" if that makes sense. You really can't go wrong with any of the Adams products.
  6. Mark me down for only 1. My wife unfortunately has to work both Friday and Saturday. Travis
  7. That's a great picture of your truck. The Flex with the 2-step will correct that. Just follow what everyone has already said. That is big truck and will take some time to do so be patient and take your time. My advice on lighting is have a lot of lights and then go get some more. I am constantly moving lights around to be able to see all the imperfections. I think the "light" you are referring to is a swirl finder. I do not use one I just have a lot of lights. Since this is your first time correcting I would concentrate on your technique and use of the products. I learned how to machine polish from all of the Adams videos. Watch the ones on the main website or older ones YouTube. They are all great! Post pictures when you are done.
  8. I did a full detail on our Challenger over the past two days. I pulled the wheels and used Adams Deep Wheel cleaner to get rid of any brake dust and Adams APC to clean the tire on the inside. I then sealed the barrel and inner wheel with Adams Quick Sealant. I also sealed the front of the wheel. For the rest of the car I did a wash, clay (windows and plastic too), Adams Paint Correcting polish (with the Flex), Adams Liquid Paint Sealant. Today I topped that with Adams Patriot Wax. I also used the Quick Sealant to all the plastic, door/trunk/hood jams, and lights. To finish up I put SVRT on the tires and Undercarriage Spray to the wheel wells. I'm glad Spring is here!
  9. I agree with the previous posts. Any pictures of the car? A guy at the gym that I go to just traded a 14 Mustang GT in on a new Evo. He plans on modding it.
  10. I was thinking the same thing. Also only do small sections at a time. It looks like you are making progress. If the paint is in bad shape it will take you longer to correct it.
  11. I cannot believe that picture was taken almost a year ago! We cannot wait for this years clinic.
  12. I was going to ask if #1 and #2 could be used on Brass and found this thread. How about Copper? My parents bought a house with some copper fixtures that are in need of cleaning.
  13. Welcome! Great looking car!
  14. I always wondered what it would be like to detail a classic vehicle like this. Enjoy the show and please share some pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!
