  1. The one I use the most often is the Duragloss version. I like it a lot. Another company suggests using their car wash at full strength with a microfiber towel and gently rubbing any stubborn bug guts off that way. Never tried it but it's an interesting idea.
  2. Things I frequently use from other manufacturers because they're not available from Adam's: 1. bug/tar remover that doesn't strip durable sealants. 2. AIO with real swirl removing ability and a long lasting sealant that is effective by hand or machine. 3. spray sealant that doesn't require a final buff. 4. dedicated spray on/walk away wheel protectant. I go through a LOT of this stuff and I only know of one version on the market. 5. microfiber wash mitts. they're so much easier to take care of IMO. 6. a QD+ / spray sealant like V07.
  3. Looks great. I'm out west in Garden City and have a 2014 Camaro ZL1 in the same color.
  4. I'm out in Garden City. I'm a member on both. I actually struck the deal on mine on jeep garage.
  5. These 5 spoke wheels are actually a new option for 2014 on the SRTs and I prefer them to the black chrome/gray split spoke wheels.
  6. This is a 2014. I think you may be thinking of the new Cherokee... it's a little different looking.
  7. Yep, that's part of the reason I went with white :-)
  8. Thanks guys. I wanted something I could drive year round here in Kansas where we can get two feet of snow in the winter and it gets up to 110 in the summer. This fits the bill nicely and it definitely boogies.
  9. I bought this last Saturday from a dealership in Arkansas. It was driven by the GM of the dealership and had 900 miles on it but was never registered. I got a killer deal on it. He installed a Corsa catback exhaust, cold air intake, catch can, slotted/drilled rotors, window tint, etc. all of which I pretty much got for free. He also debadged all but the rear Jeep logo. They trailered it to my driveway, 15 hours away in Kansas, and hauled my trade-in away. Easiest car deal I've ever had. Anyways, here are a couple of pics right after I got it washed up and sealed for the winter:
  10. I'll be honest... I've backed out of a few online shopping carts on the website recently because the prices were kind of shocking. My fiance got me a $25 gift certificate and it's crazy how LITTLE that will get you unless you're looking to cover shipping costs on a large order or something like that. Having said that, I will still keep a stock of Car Shampoo on hand. I love that stuff.
  11. If you're looking for a nice carnauba wax, Adam's has a couple of nice options with Buttery Wax and Americana Wax. I still use both lines of products depending on my mood and needs.
  12. Do you recommend adding it to your normal liquid detergent or using it by itself?

  14. Buttons aren't a determining factor for most people when buying a car.
  15. News to me. Guess I better take it back and buy something superior, which by your standards, would be anything built overseas. Lame.
  16. As it turns out, I own a German built 2011 Buick Regal Turbo. The interior is a nice place to spend time. Much nicer than my Roush, as would be expected. As Dylan noted, though, the new Grand Cherokee and Ford cars and trucks hold their own against anything in the same price segment, and compete against vehicles costing much more.
  17. <iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/QXjNB43WRBk" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" width="420"></iframe> I'm on a big electronic music kick right now and I stumbled across this band on Pandora and really enjoy their sound. This song is especially impressive, IMO.
  18. How does the new Spray Sealant work on matte black vinyl stripes?
  19. Like someone already said, it all comes from the same place. I wholesale gas and diesel products to gas stations every day. It doesn't matter if it's a Valero, Phillips 66, Cenex, Shell... all of the gas comes from the same refineries and terminals. The "additivies" business is a crock, IMO.
  20. Interesting... my car claims to have "suede" inserts but it sure looks like the Alcantara on one of my previous vehicles. Either way, glad I read this first.
  21. I don't have any problems getting mine open, but I did leave it out one really hot summer day and the bottom of the container bowed out so now it wobbles around rather than sit flat. No biggie
  22. Man, if only there were some magical aerosol version that would make it even easier....... *hint* *hint*
