  1. Dylan is just not used to having a "big" truck lol. A big water puddle and he thinks about the 4WD button lol. Much easier to get around than the Avalanche. My Truxk is a PITA to drive in the snow so I just stay home lol.
  2. I wouldn't laugh much haha. Adjusting a scope can get you twisted up sometimes with direction. I have twisted the wrong direction plenty of times and thought WTF lol. I would see what bullet weight your going to shoot and once you sight it in with that weight stick with it. Also get you a good case. Something hard and not a soft case. That way once you sight it in once your basically done and only have to shoot it once or twice to make sure you didn't bump it off somehow.
  3. Sighting in a rifle is easy. Just see how much a "click" is on your scope and go on from there. Also I shoot 3 shots and then adjust the scope towards the bullet wholes then shoot 3 more. I always shoot 3 shots and then adjust to try and get in the center of that pattern.
  4. Have you ever sighted in a rifle before? If you can get it bore sighted for cheap I would recommend doing that. That would at least get you on paper lol. Also I would research at what distance you should sight a .243 in at. I sighted my AR in at 33 yards that puts me inch high at 100 and dead on at 250 I believe. Just some quick reading says to sight in at 2 inches high at 100. That will put you dead on at 200 and about 6 inches low at 300.
  5. The extra room of the crew equals more comfort for you and your rear passengers. You do loose a little bed length though. Obviously I don't use my truck for anything lol.
  6. Lol well it's addicting like most things you do. Although if I was going to buy I would be getting an AR or AK and spend a ton on high cap mags. Those are going to be the first things to get restricted along with high cap pistol mags. I have a feelin that its coming down the pipeline.
  7. I agree with those tires being very shiny. I don't get mine that glossy.
  8. That's what I was going to recommend a .243 will do whatever you need. I don't know if you have kids but its a caliber that they can shoot as well. Is that a 3X9 scope?
  9. maximum gauge That's mine on 360.
  10. The crew for me is just the right amount of room. I rode in the back of a quad for about 6 hours and it was cramped. I was hurting when i got out. When I started looking at the Crew I had the salesman drive me around in the back seat lol. I have to say that it's nice and comfortable.
  11. Nice. So you got a .308?
  12. Well I don't know about the 8 speed trans but with my 2012 with the 6 speed (actually same trans as the 5 speed with a different program) they say the 3.92 gets better mileage. Mostly because while in MDS the torque from the slighter higher RPM will keep you in MDS longer. I am constantly going in and out of MDS and any rise in the road causes my truck to get pulled out of MDS. The 3.92 are also better drivability as the 3.55 are sluggish to me.
  13. Get a Crew cab. You won't regret it. Also find one with the 3.92 gears.
  14. You should buy the adams brilliant glaze and do a comparison.
  15. Go drive both and then decide from there. The Fords are high as they are PROUD of them lol. The EB is a cool engine but wait until you see a 100k and have to replace turbos. Now if they made a regular cab short bed ecoboost I would look at it pretty hard.
  16. Ok. Ill stick to one wipe down before claying and then move on from there.
  17. 'Nuff said. Seriously I love my RAM.
  18. Lets just say I was going to do my hood today. My steps would be full wash, dry, wipe hood down with IPA, clay, polish, IPA wipe down, and then machine super sealant. That would get the hood polished and sealed. Then I could do the same to as many panels that I had time for but if I didn't have time I could come back to them. Then when I moved onto different panels just use WCW or DS to get the light dust off before starting.
  19. I want to begin a full correction but I have a question. I don't have a garage so I will be doing the machine polish outside. I want to know can I do a regular wash with car shampoo and then do an IPA wipe down one panel at a time? Like IPA wipe down the hood, machine polish, and seal. That would leave all other panels still protected. I'm worried about doing a full strip wash and not finishing the correction.
  20. That is still my favorite body style of the mustang. Give me 03'-04' cobra and I'm good to go. Those cars were way before their time and still hold very well against the new technology.
  21. How does the optima run with that new turbo motor? They are great looking cars. I really like the look of the white limited with a black roof
  22. Well I wash the GW after every use and I do both air dry and use the dryer. It just feels rougher than it should. It's prolly in my head. What is an alternative to APC? I'm out and need to clean applicators and such.
