  1. Agreed for most polishers, however this doesn't hold true for Rupes machines. Everything they advise is to just use the weight of their polisher and you just guide it.
  2. While I normally use about three of each of the pads, then clean them up at the end of the project. I was wondering if it's okay to use a damp pad? Could you use a single pad clean it when needed spin it dry/damp and continue on? Those of you that have a pad washer is this something you do?
  3. As a detail enthusiast I'm finding that the Cyclo offers the same correction capabilities as a Flex it just takes a little longer. And for me it's a more enjoyable tool to use. Another added benefit is you can quickly swap the pad from your Cyclo to a PC or drill to handle a tighter or problem area.
  4. I'm assuming that your PC is equipped with something other than a 4" pad then or your going to have to clarify how a single 4" pad is not easier for tighter areas than dual 4" pads. The reason I'm considering the PC in addition to the Cyclo is that the PC with a 4" pad is it's overall smaller in size thus should be able to handle these tighter areas better than the Cyclo.
  5. I was thinking along the lines of a smaller contact area. A single 4" brush versus the two brushes. Examples where I though it maybe beneficial were tire scrubbing, windows, carpet cleaning on smaller interiors, and some smaller contact areas around the bumpers, plus our outside mirrors.
  6. Any benefit to having both a PC and a Cyclo?
  7. With a writable area for what product is in it
  8. Had another bad day detailing yesterday. Been battleing with a product for the past nine months that has taken all the enjoyment out of this hobby. The details of the product are un-important, but this time was that "straw that broke the camels back". So at 9:30PM CDT I draft an email to customer service. Now I have only been an Adam's customer for about 15 months and most certainly not one of the volume purchasers, just your average customer. So one would believe your not going to hear any response until 24-48 into the business week. To my amazement I receive a response within minutes from Adam. Did I just get luckily? I don't believe so as I read these types of responses with to much frequency. Do you believe the issue will be resolved satisfactory as I do? Here's the ending of his email. This my fellow enthuses is why Adam's Polishes continues to be such a valued company to us. Thanks Gary, and let’s get you happy, Adam Pitale Founder, Chief Detailer www.AdamsPolishes.com 303-718-9480

  10. Turn it upside down or side ways an then try spraying. Try the same with the new 360 design and you can spray at any angle.
  11. I agree, but a half liter bottle at a cheaper price point that would also fit better in my Adams bag would suit me better.
  12. Kwazar offers two sizes of sprayers both being of identical construction. Your response offers no guidance on why one liter was chosen over the half-liter. And if your familiar with the sprayers you would know they do leak unless these are the 360 sprayers.
  13. 36oz bottles were discontinued due to lack of sales yet you're going with a 1 liter sprayer over offer the half liter one. Don't understand the logic behind the decision but wondering if your also going to at least offer the half liter bottles at a latter date.

  15. Did say it wasn't Rinseless. I'm asking how you get 16 rinseless washes when your using 2oz per 5 gal as recommended. Where did you read this ratio?"Adam's Rinseless Car Wash also makes a fantastic spray on waterless wash product! Simply dilute a few ounces with water in a spray bottle and you have a fantastic waterless washing solution, great for removing dust for a quick wipe down without swirl marks. Our highly concentrated formula can be used for up to sixteen rinseless washes or makes over 250 ounces of waterless washing spray making Adam's Rinseless Wash not only economical but friendly on the environment by utilizing less water and creating zero run off like a regular hose and bucket wash.
  16. High school math was quite awhile ago but I don't see how the volume adds up in the product description. As this is a 16oz bottle using 2oz in a 5 gallon pail = 8 washes. Yes we could use less depending on conditions but saying 16 washes doesn't match based on recommendations. A few oz = 250 waterless washes. A few to me has always been 3. I guess it depends on the size of the bottle being used, but wouldn't it be better stated to use 1 oz in a 16 oz bottle as a waterless wash?
  17. In another thread Chewy stated "IMO, you can't do a proper correction with just the Flex. For the small areas, you need the PC or Cyclo." I have to agree. This past year I upgraded from a PC to the Flex and sold the PC. Didn't feel this was a bad decision at the time but now finding out how much it add to the correction process. So the question is what's the best option for those small areas? Would you purchase a PC or a Cyclo?

  20. Has anyone used the Flex with their mini backing plate and the new 4 MF pads? Will that setup even work since the true size of the backing plate is 4-3/8.
  21. Will Deep Wheel Cleaner than have a 16oz size?
  22. Called them a couple weeks ago to order just the Flex. $360, saved some $40 by purchasing the new polishes an pad combo with it instead.
  23. both my pads look like this after the first brushing, which I consider normal.
