New Deep Wheel Cleaner: My Thoughts

My post a few days ago was on a 2003 outback and the wheels had never been cleaned other than coin operated pressure washes. I did clean them with Adams shampoo first but it never touched the baked on stuff. After a quick shot of DWC and some light brushing they look like new again. -

I used GWC on the rim and had little to no results. Maybe with major scrubbing it would have but that was not in the books for this car. DWC was the key just spray it on give it a quick brush and all clean. From now on I will keep up with GWC.

Quick clip of MTM and 4oz of adam's shampoo. This was before I knew the front nozzle controlled the spray shape.

Love the bottle. I was just looking at all my other ones and thinking how nice it would be to have that size for everything. Not a huge amount of scrubbing but it did take some light work. I used a Pedro's tools brush I have for bikes. It Fits prefect and I have a few.

Used my MTM for the first time today. Adam's shampoo foamed up great!

Been trying to get this wheel clean for sometime now without using clay and hard work. Hard to see but the dirt on the gold has been baked on for many years First spray Starting to work All clean Thumbs up Adam's! Worked great with little work on my part. Out of the bottle it smells great when working you do still get a bit of stink but not too strong.

At the two detail clinics I attended Adam talked about reactivating the products. Do others agree with that? I'm kind of new to machine stuff but used this technique and it seemed ok.

I have a refurbished ridged one from HD. Works great all over and just turn it down for the cars. -
Going with that. Also too much force will make the flex walk/run away.

I look at the pad when I do a section and if I still see the dots on it just give it a quick shot of DS.

How often are you adding product to the pad? Many times you can just hit the pad with DS and reactivate the polish.

Well back to old TapTalk until Adam's get it fixed. Still using the HD on all other forums as I like it better.
