  1. Cool. You just missed a Detail Clinic at Adam's HQ but, thankfully, there will be more. In addition to those and some Shelby/Mustang-specific events, I also hope to make it to at least some of these: - Goodguys 16th Colorado Nationals - 43rd Annual ColoRODans Rod Festival - Tri-Lakes Cruisers 2013 Benefit Car Show - Cars and Coffee - First Saturday "Car Shows"
  2. Interesting. Here's a screenshot from Home Depot's Web site, showing a subset of the Toro mowers they carry... I had the same experience, having owned two Sears mowers before switching to Toro. My Toro experience has been trouble-free for ~4yrs (and counting).
  3. I got mine from Home Depot.
  4. Welcome, Chad! Your Adam's collection is off to a good start. Speaking as someone who's only a few months ahead of you on the Adam's path, I recommend prepping your checking account what is to come - Every time I think I've got everything I need, I run low on something (inspiring me to buy a gallon refill) or Dylan posts another Daily/Weekly/Shipping Special or Sale (inspiring me to stock-up). It's a vicious cycle. Where are you in Colorado?
  5. I'm very happy with my Toro. One of my favorite features is its "SpinStop Blade Stop System" (aka Blade Override System) which allows you to step away from the mower without having to restart it.
  6. Maybe. Unfortunately, there are too many variables (including specifics of any would-be point system and the time value of money to each of us) to definitively calculate which is better. I prefer getting my discount in the here and now, on what I need/want today, rather than a potential future savings on something I may never buy. With a percentage discount, I know exactly what I'm getting and I leave nothing "on the table." With a point system, you frequently have some amount of accumulating (i.e., unclaimed) discount that requires additional purchase(s) to receive. In the end, Dylan asked what we prefer. Obviously, each of us is free to offer an opinion. Ours happen to differ.
  7. We're fond of (Black & Tan or Black & Red) German Shepherds. Adopted from Front Range German Shepherd Rescue, this is our third in ~23yrs...
  8. Discounts and Specials NOW beat any kind of points in the future.
  9. MAYBE, but only if he works REALLY hard and builds a name for himself...
  10. x2. Great job by Dylan and the rest of the Adam's team!
  11. OUCH! I'm sorry to hear that. You missed a great clinic. Dylan and the Adam's crew did an outstanding job. The demos and Q&A were very informative, and discounts on everything sold were most appreciated. Camaro Club members were very gracious to the few of us who showed-up in non-GM vehicles. It would have been even better, however, to have a fellow SVT owner and his Raptor there. Looking forward to another opportunity to hang out with a group of car enthusiasts while scoring good deals on the best detailing products available.
  12. Good call! Thank you. I'm looking forward to bringing my (fair weather and clean road) Shelby, rather than my (inclement weather and messy road) Tacoma...
  13. Is your wife willing to speak to mine? I've got a birthday coming up...
  14. I haven't done it myself, but I recently read this summary of a rim restoration (in some other forums in which I participate). Admittedly, those wheels looked worse than yours do, but I thought you might get some ideas from that process which started with the aircraft stripper Andrew recommended...
  15. Based on the weather over the past two days, I'd say that's a definite MAYBE...
