  1. In another forum I frequent, I recently recommended TID and LC to someone asking about interior detailing products. Another user chimed-in claiming both are "Made by chemicalguys". Is there any truth to this?
  2. Thanks, again, guys! I'll definitely drink to that!
  3. Thanks for all the kind words! 1980 & Newer was a VERY broad category! Somewhat surprising too, since everything up to 1980 was grouped by decade. I'd guess there were about 150 total entrants, of about 35 were in the 1980 & Newer group. (The show was definitely weighted toward vintage vehicles, with some dating back to the 1930s.) I do know, however, there were a good number of Corvettes and Prowlers that arrived in groups, along with several Roush Mustangs and Mopar entries, all in the same category.
  4. Great tip! To date, I've relied on a combination of SVRT and In & Out. I'll have to give this a try instead...
  5. It was a good day at a local Show & Shine, thanks to Adam's and a bit of elbow grease. Best in (1980 & newer) Class...
  6. You bring up an excellent point, Jim. Those of us who purchased our PCs through Adam's got a lifetime warranty on them. I wonder if/how that's affected when they no longer sell them...?
  7. I thought I saw a specific thread on this too, but I can't find it at the moment. That said, I did come across these posts that are relevant. Looks like the target for ITW/Clay Magic patent expiration is late July and Adam's is already testing new products... http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/22725-clay-bar-alternative/?do=findComment&comment=361301 http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/22725-clay-bar-alternative/page-3?do=findComment&comment=379209 http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/22725-clay-bar-alternative/page-3?do=findComment&comment=379526
  8. Thanks, Eric! I appreciate the explanation, and will eagerly await delivery of my In & Out Spray.
  9. Spent most of the day detailing the Shelby in preparation for a car show this weekend.
  10. A package just arrived for which I thank you. It contained the 3-pk of Quick Sealant, Wax Applicators, and Microfiber Towel I ordered. Unfortunately, it did NOT contain the 3-pk of In & Out Spray. I see yesterday's post about selling out of In & Out, but the only indication of backorder on my invoice was on the Wax Applicators, so I'm at a loss to understand the absence of In & Out. There was no packing list in the box, and I've received no indication of your plan to fulfill my order. Please advise. Before anyone asks, I called and emailed Thompson directly before posting here, but was unable to reach anyone.
  11. I, for one, am happy with the "old" stuff. I'm quite content using what I have on-hand and making the shift after its been applied to my vehicles. If you "don't know what to do" with yours, drop me a PM. I'm willing to pay shipping cost to send new & unopened bottles/pads my way...
  12. The trash man?!? I'll pay shipping for you send it all to me.
  13. No first-hand experience with them, yet, since I currently run BFG A/T KOs on my truck. I have a friend running them on his F150 Crew, however, and he is VERY happy with them. Most of his miles on on-road, but Duratracs are wearing well and provide great traction & handling in all-seasons. Based on his experience, I will likely give them a try when my BFGs are ready for replacement.
  14. x2. I hit the "big/easy" areas with SVRT and everything else with In&Out.
  15. Are you still doing these, Randy? If so, I sent you a couple of PMs... If not, I'm sorry to have missed out.
