Griots Garage 3in random orbital with FOCUS pads?
Shermanator posted a question in Paint Correction & Polishing
I have a Griots Garage 3in Random Orbital along with my Flex and I was wonder if there would be any issues with using the FOCUS pads on it? I have a set of pads for the 3in Polisher, but I'm going to order the FOCUS pad set in the future and it would be an added bonus if they worked with the smaller polisher I have for smaller areas... -
The weird thing with me is that I was getting an email with my tracking info up until an order placed May 4th...since then I haven't gotten anything and as far as I know I didn't change anything in my checkout procedure. No email in my spam box etc.... Not a huge deal since I can just log into the main site and see my tracking info there...

I always said I'd never buy adams microfiber.
Shermanator replied to FarbeyondDriven's question in Towels, Brushes, & Accessories
I wish they made a double soft MicroFiber bath towel....I placed an order for a Adam's Microfiber Towel Bundle (needed more Great White drying towels and wanted to get the other towels they made also) and the Double soft microfiber towels are just sublime! -
Anyone feel like taking a swing at this...I see them sometimes and can't figure out which products they are talking about... Example: GWT...Great White Towel

Some facts...first off, yes China is biggest Foreign holder of US debt...but guess who is the biggest holder overall? You and me (Social Security trust fund)! Its not like China "owns" the country because of the debt they hold. Who Owns Most of the US National Debt As for taxing out of state, I thought this was settled already: U.S. Supreme Court ruled that states can't force businesses elsewhere to collect those taxes unless the company has a physical presence in that state - such as a physical retail store or an office. Retailers that operate in one or a few states typically collect taxes only for those states and not others. Read more: What would an online sales tax mean for you? | Fox News Personally I'd like to see a flat tax (I'd rather see no tax at all) so its easier to collect... But what I really think is going to happen is that the bigger guys like Walmart.com, Amazon.com and the like are going to lower their prices 5-7% to absorbe the taxes so their customers don't see or feel it. The screwed up thing about that is the guys who are smaller or startups are going to be at a competitive disadvantage because of that....which isn't fair either.

Gas powered Pressure washer questions
Shermanator posted a question in Washing, Drying, and Decontamination
I'm picking up my Gas Pressure washer this weekend and I had a question when using it...should I wet the car down first using the wand that it comes with, then use the MTM Foam Lance/Cannon to apply the soap? Do have careful with using the wand? I'm assuming you don't want to use the pencil thin water setting on the car due to the PSI behind it -
Do you offer Polo shirts?

MTM Foam Cannon
Shermanator replied to IrishCurse's question in Washing, Drying, and Decontamination
I think an electric power washer is good if you're just going to wash cars with it, but with a gas powered one, you can do a whole lot more with it. I have about 75-100 ft worth of plastic fence in my yard that had a green patina/moss growing on it, and I used my future father in law's pressure washer on it. Between doing that every year or two and the ability to pressure wash other things around the house besides cars, sold me on getting a gas powered one. I just need to get a longer hose so I can reach the last 10-15 feet of my fence (which wasn't as bad as the rest I was able to get too) -
Here are my guys: My Pug, Sherman, Tinker Tortoiseshell Maine Coon Mix and Livy the black and white long hair on top of the couch. (just noticed Pippa is hiding behind Tinker LOL) Scout, in my old Condo....he is my Fiancee's cat we got together at North Shore Animal League a few years ago Another photo of Livy, my Fiancee got her a few months after getting Scout Oreo...I got him from my sister when he was trying to break into her house as a kitten. He's the oldest cat of the bunch. He loves Sherman...well all my cats love Sherman LOL Here is Pippa, the newest edition to the family. We got her back last October after my first cat, Klondike passed away

Few quick shots of my '13 SHO with small mods
Shermanator replied to Chase@InsanePaint's topic in Detailing Write-Ups
Not quite...lots of people with tunes and so far no internal engine damage...in the F-150 they put out over 400HP. The limitation in the SHO is with the FWD/AWD drive train. -

I just ordered mine yesterday from Amazon via Wayfair for $59.99 and free shipping -
I just got one of these (well my sister got it for me (she has the Sam's membership) and I have to go to Jersey to pick it up LOL): Blackmax 2,800 PSI - Gasoline Pressure Washer - Powered by Honda - Sam's Club Anyone else have one? I'm in the process of ordering a MTM Foam lance to go with it....any idea if I'll have to get an adaptor for it? I guess I can get one from the local Lowes or Home Depot. Looking forward to trying it out!

I ordered a set of microfiber towels from another maker off Amazon...I used them and was pretty happy with them. I finally broke down and got two great white drying towels from Adam's the other day and finally used them this past Friday...HOLY crap! They are so much better than the other brand I used! the "other brand" is going to be used to dry off my wheels and door jams and the GW towels are going to be used everywhere else. I even had my Fiancee try out the GW towels yesterday when I washed her Escape and she was even impressed by them! I'm planning on getting a Towel package set from Adams when I goto Thompson Motorsports Detailing clinic this Saturday with a bunch of other stuff! LOL -
