  1. I have a dustbuster that must have the same electric motor as the Blaster Side kick...when you turn it on you can actually feel the torque from it spinning!
  2. I got an Adams Blaster Sidekick Dryer when it was on the daily special a few weeks back and finally got around to using it yesterday. I got it mostly to dry off the rims on my SHO, which are a gloss black color and I wanted to cut down on the amount of swirls as much as possible...but its awesome for just helping drying the car off when you use a great white towel along with it. Makes getting water out of the cracks and around emblems so easy!
  3. You should be ok...I did my Mustang over a couple weeks, but I also had it in the garage the whole time, but it still picked up dust from me parking my daily driver next to it and opening the door.
  4. I used 3 to spread and finished with 5 on my Flex...seemed to work out ok..
  5. I just tried out the Focus pads on my Mustang I'm slowly doing a paint correction on...I have a couple of scratch marks in the paint (not all the way through, maybe into the clear coat) that I was trying to get out using some Severe Swirl remover and its associated pad on my cordless drill...I made it look better, but I can still see the scratches in the paint. I didn't want to get too carried away and "burn" the paint and felt the sheetmetal on the car and it was "lukewarm" to "warm" but not hot....is there a good rule of thumb on how warm is too warm?
  6. I was about to ask that myself...I could use some for my Griots polisher I have...
  7. I'm assuming your talking the travel bag that recently just came out, how about offering the travel bag with product and a microfiber two or two as a package deal for about $100-150 bucks depending on what is in it? I'd buy one
  8. I finally got around to getting a decent photo of it....I did my very first paint correction on it (well wasn't that bad...was only a few weeks old when I did it) about a month ago and has a coat of Americana thats about 3 weeks old on it. Tonight I just washed it using a Foam Lance and some Adams Car Shampoo, dried it off with a Great White towel and some Quick detailer spritzed on it. Super VRT on the black trim and tires. I used Adam's Glass Cleaner and microfiber towels to clean the windows. I can see myself in the reflection on the Bumper with my Mustang in the Garage and my Fiancee's Escape on the rear door!
  9. I have a 2013 Ford Taurus SHO that has black painted inserts with machined outer portion of the wheel. I'm starting to notice some swirl marks in the black painted areas, whats the best way to keep them protected? Am I going to have to reapply a wax or whatever when I clean the wheels either with DWC or Green Wheel Cleaner?
  10. Is there any special considerations for when I wash this towel besides don't throw it in with the white microfiber towels?
  11. but they are asking luxury car pricing for a car that looks like it was designed in the late 1990s...this is going to be a giant fail like the G8 prior to it. Heck if you want something like this at a decent price, I've already seen Chevy Caprices Cop cars on Ebay/used car lots for 20K less...yeah it doesn't have as nice of an interior, but you still get the engine in it.
  12. I stopped by Saturday and wanted to thank whoever hooked my finanee and I up with the bottle of water after she said she was thirsty. I got done detailing spray, a bigger bottle of undercarriage spray and some window cleaner.
  13. Well since my delayed shipping notification for Cinco de Mayo $5 shipping, my tracking # numbers have showed up with in 48 hours of placing an order with my last two orders
  14. I used my pressure washer for the first time this past Friday. I got some quick disconnects to put on the wand at where hose attaches to it and I got another power washer wand to put my MTM Foam Cannon on to. Both sets of wands got Quick Disconnects on them...I fired up the Pressure washer, rinsed the car off then went to change out the wands while the PW was running.... but the quick disconnect didn't want to budge! I had to shut the PW off, to get the Quick disconnect to come apart and was able to get the foam cannon on and had to restart the PW to start soaping the car down.... So is this normal when using Quick disconnects on a pressure washer?
  15. I broke out my pressure washer and foam lance/cannon this weekend with the Adams Car Shampoo for the first time and I love the smell! The cannon worked pretty good too... Everything Adams makes smells good!

  17. Did some more experimenting...the white specks comes off with a claybar no problem. I reapplied in the area where I used the clay bar and the specks didn't come back (within an hour or so of applying it so far). I tried some other areas of the car and no specks so far. I'm going with the machine super sealant didn't flashover/off gas totally when I did it earlier this afternoon and its now fully cured, thus no problems
  18. Bumps...it only happened on the front of the car after I applied the Americana to it this afternoon. Rest of the car is fine. It was clayed yesterday before I started the process also yesterday
  19. It comes off if I use a MF towel and some detail spray if rub hard enough Thats what it looks like, crappy pic...didn't feel like breaking out the macro on the DSLR
  20. I did full detailing yesterday with my SHO and did the following: Swirl and Haze Remover Fine Machine Polish Machine Super Sealant I wrapped up everything around lunchtime and went out, got caught in the rain later that afternoon and parked the car in my garage when I got in last night. So about an hour ago I took some Waterless Wash to the car to get rid of whatever dirt and water marks where left on the car. After that was done, I started applying Americanica wax to the front of the car and when I started removing the wax, I noticed really small white specks in the paint when I shined a flashlight on it...I'm assuming the Machine Super Sealant isn't completely seat up and is still "gassing off". What's my best course of action to take care of this? Leave it alone for another 12-24 hours then take some detail spray/microfiber to it?
  21. I had some Geese crap on my Mustang that etched it...its been like that for at least 5 years. I got my Adams Polishing kit a month or two ago and was able to polish it out!
  22. As an FYI this isn't the right link to a 3/8 inch pipe nipple that you need for the MTM Foam Lance...its too big. I got the right one at Lowes the other day. Hopefully gonna break out the new Pressure washer, Foam Lance and all my Adams goodies Friday evening to start detailing my SHO.
