Chris@Adams
So it being dry isn't normal? Is it usually very slick ? kind of like ... ( i cant think of anything lol) Yes that normal, take your applicator pad and twist it around and it will smooth out. Watch Adam, around the 3 min. mark. mc2hill
Well if your like me you, umm, have to, umm, umm, REMOVE THE PAPER UNDER THE APPLICATOR. It is amazing how much more wax you can put on the applicator with that paper out of the way!

ExpressThis13
Americana will appear like that sometimes. I accidently let my americana take a trip down my stairs and it was chunky and cracked to (insert word here) but a few turns with the app and it was fine. I thought I made a $70 oops but all is well. 1anonly
To me, your Americana looks fine. I had those little chunks. No big thing. Enjoy
Team Adam's
Americana is a HARD PASTE WAX. As such its going to be the consistency of a candle... I know if this is your first experience with a high quality paste wax it might seem a little unusual, but thats how its supposed to be. WHATEVER YOU DO - DO NOT SPRAY DETAIL SPRAY INTO THE TUB!! Team Adam's
tends to react funny with the wax when its applied... can lead to hazing or cloudiness on the paint. Easily fixed by stripping the wax, but for whatever reason DS and Americana don't play nice when they're both still 'wet'
Tonymac
I would not use DS. The Americana is fine by itself. Put the hex on it and give it a couple of spins and it should loosen up a bit.
