Lunchbox
Do you experts think it would it be safe to use APC to clean a reusable air filter from a cold air intake?
Sizzle Chest
I think you will be fine using it. I still have some of the K&N cleaner left from my kit, but I have thought of using APC when I run out of the K&N stuff.

BrianT
Do you experts think it would it be safe to use APC to clean a reusable air filter from a cold air intake? I have used APC on my AFE filter for my diesel, it worked great, but I have found that dawn works the same and is cheaper. I can use a ton of dawn and don't go broke, it took a lot of APC to clean my very very dirty filter. I clean my filter every 30,000 miles or about every year and it is nasty. http://www.adamsforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2631
Grubrunner
I've also used AAPC on K&N and S&B filters in the past without issues..... just great results. PS: Rinse thoroughly.

MAYBEN
I just switched to a dry filter because I didn't want to worry about over/under oiling the filter..
