Washing with Grit Guard

Do I need to use a grit guard in my soap bucket. I use one in my rinse bucket, but should I be using one in my soap bucket. I have seen some people do use but I just didnt think it was necessary seeing as how the rinse bucket should be collecting all the dirt.

I use one. Reason being the rinse bucket doesn't catch everything. I still have debris in the bottom of my soap bucket if the car is real dirty

I have left it out sometimes but I have more often have been putting 2 in the rinse bucket.

I use one in each bucket... just as an added measure of insurance. Ideally everything you want to dislodge should come out in the rinse bucket, but as we all know theres always times when things don't go according to plan.

Grit guards are so cheap you would be foolish not to do it

I use two as well and the grit guard in the wash bucket acts as a great device to aggitate the soap/water mix to create fresh suds each time you "take a dip"
