BG Question

I applied a coat of Americana about 6 weeks ago after polishing. I clayed and washed the car yesterday in preparation for a show tomorrow. Is it okay to apply BG today since I applied the wax so recently? Also, should I top it with another coat of Americana? Thanks for the help!

 

If it helps, the car is garaged but driven daily.

Ya know...my little method to madness is this:

 

Apply BG and two thin coats of APW.

 

Wait SIX WEEKS, apply BG again.

 

Wait two weeks, apply APW again.

 

Boom melt your face off....ANNNNNNNNND GO!

you clayed yesterday but did not re apply some Americana? I would put down some BG then another fresh layer of Americana!

Yes, if you clayed....then your wax is gone anyway. BG is it, then top it with Buttery or Americana.

Don't know how I missed the part about you Claying yesterday....

Paul, its not only ok, I strongly recommend that you put a coat of BG on before the show and if you have the time top it off with another coat of Americana!

Yessir. Claying REMOVES all old wax & oils. So follow the boys' advice above!!
