babaron
When applying multiple layers of Americana wax, is it necessary to wait a period of time between layers or can I layer it right after the last coat? Thanks.
xkwj43z
I would think that you can just apply it one layer right after the other without a wait time since it's not like a paint sealant that has a reaction time before you can do anything else
Z71_Denali
no cure time involved with wax. just sealant requires some time between layers
XQIZT
Good to go one right after another...although, keep in mind, any more than 2 layers and you're wasting product and run the risk of actually clouding the shine. Think of it this way....one piece of glass is clear...but stack multiple panes of glass back to back and what happens? Not so clear.
Chewy
^^^Mike^^^ is right! Two applications at a time max! An application every two weeks on a DD will work well too.

Chris@Adams
You can but I always wait say a month or two, because one coat will give you all the protection you need and secondly in a couple of months another coat will give your paint a new pop! firemanram
Darn! Does that mean that my super duper paint protection plan (machine sealant, brilliant glaze, two coats americana paste) that I was going to end my 30 hr., 1 year aniversary detail with would be overkill and cloud my paint?!?! Doug123
Nope. It will be super duper, but shouldn't be cloudy. It will have max armor and max shine.
Captain Slow
Good to go one right after another...although, keep in mind, any more than 2 layers and you're wasting product and run the risk of actually clouding the shine. Think of it this way....one piece of glass is clear...but stack multiple panes of glass back to back and what happens? Not so clear. Like Mike says, "one piece of glass is clear..." We all know eyeglass lenses are clear and cured wax is also clear, right? Here's 3 eyeglass lenses individually and then just three stacked on top of one another. Good bye optical clarity. The button in the center is due to an application of an anti-reflective coating. This increases light transmission through the lens from approximately 92% to over 99.5%. Mr Optical Wizard out. PEACE!
