merino wool VS wash pad

I anticipate the answer will be the traditional Adam's family, "because it's just better" response (and I don't doubt it) but ...

 

... I would like to know, given that the wash pad is guaranteed, not to scratch or swirl the paint, then why would I need anything else (i.e. wool mit)?

 

Sorry if I sound like a jerk, you know I love you guys lol - honest question.

Thankfully I bought my Merino a few days ago, it was out of stock for a while then as I checked daily it was back in so I placed my order. So far my collection of Adams products is almost complete. Next stop is to get both the pc and flex, also loooking into the master blaster. I have the sidekick and the vac n blo 500:banana:

I have a new method I've dubbed "pad flooding" that I'm going to shoot a video on as soon as the rain here lets up.

Has anyone tried using a shop vac and hitting different spots of the pad to suck out any dirt particles?
