Detailing Something New....A Truck LOL

DP 08 GXP

Recommended Posts

had yet another truck come to me to get brought back to life...this one ranks in about the top 3 as for overall terrible condition....black paint that was full of swirls and the inside was extremely dirty...customer didnt want to do with the 3 step polish process so we went with the 2 step and it still came out pretty well...even got myself a $10 tip....enjoy the carnage and beauty lol

Oh man, I really dread looking at the first set of your pictures. It's actually really painful for me. I think I need to just skip to the bottom of the page and work my way up instead.

Again.....AMAZING JOB AS ALWAYS!!!

Dude!!! That is a NUTTY turnaround from ONLY SHR & FMP!!!! I would've had to do a pass of SSR just so my OCD could rest, lol. You da man bro. :)

thanks...yeah the truck did need the 3 step but the customer didnt want to go that route so i had to resist the urge to still bust it out lol

Did you use a flex or pc?? Great job!!

i used 3 polishers...the PC Flex 3401 and Flex PE

What did you charge for the detail? If I could ask

$160 which is my normal charge...next year since i have the customer base i will be raising my prices a little

Wow! What an amazing turnaround, customer must have been over the moon with the results, pretty good for a 2 stepper. Nice work!

I know nothing about the price of detailing but that's an amazing amount of work for $160. They should've given you a $100 tip IMO!

And that's why I have never detailed anyone else's vehicle for money. I doubt many would want to pay what I feel it is worth.

That's an awesome job!

And how anyone can drive a vehicle around looking like that is beyond me!
