My Truck is Clean Again

We had a little bit of snow earlier this week here in Denver. Yesterday it was about 35 degrees so I decided to go ahead and wash my truck. Of course, the neighbors looking at me wierd. As i proceed to wash the truck, my water hose was frozen. No water came out of the hose. I was determined to wash it because I had told my wife that I was gonna wash it while she went to the grocery store then we could go to run other errands when she got back. So after quick thinking I put the hose in the dryer! (see pic) after about 5 minutes I could heard the ice inside the hose bounce inside the dryer .It was done! My son stared at me and asked why I did that. I told him not to tell mom lol. Here is my son laughing at me! After the wash I clayed my truck for the first time. I know the previous owner had taken good care of it with Adams products so I try my best to keep it at least half as clean as Nick had it. I was happy with results. My wife took a pic of door. Good reflection .

If claying was your last step, be sure to get some sealant and/or wax on there ASAP as your paint is essentially "naked" after you clay it.

Haha ! Thanks man ill take that as a compliment . My wife thinks I'm addicted. I know I'm addicted lol! After coating I did seal it. When I went to Adams HQ's Chris was kind enough to lead me in the right direction before I got started.

Hose in the dryer is hard core! I love it!

But how long does your wife take at the grocery store? I usually spend 2 hours cleaning my truck and that's without anything extra like claying/polishing.

She was back way before I was finished. I was cleaning up my truck for about 3 hours. Didn't realize it would take that long. She was a little mad but after she saw how clean it was she was fine. I would clean her car but it needs way more than just a clean and polish. It has some body damage. I let her drive the SS this week.

That's what my hose looked liked today, I need to remind myself to put it in the garage after a wash. I didn't think to put it in the dryer though.

I just let the water run til the ice melted and started shooting out little Poopsickles.

Yea I tried running hot water through it . It didn't work for me. Or I wasn't patient enough .from now on Ill be more careful with my hose . ( too much hose talk) lol
