MikeMk6
A couple of my buddies are using this instead of in and out spray. They claim it works just as good. I'm just wondering what are the drawbacks?
0 EPHIOS
I am not sure how it works, but the silicone spray is for automotive, right?
0 Z71_Denali
silicone spray leaves greasy feel where it's applied, it attracts dirt, and clogs the pores of the material its applied to, which leads to dry rot. this is why Adam's SVRT and I&O Spray contain no silicone. Good example is for tire dressing like, BM Tire Spray. Full of silicone, slings all the time (even after wiping it down), and attracts a lot of dirt. 0 Team Adam's
If you like greasy, dust attracting, finishes then silicone is an excellent way to go! These are generally the same type that use old motor oil as tire dressing too.

0 THE Mook
Don't listen if they try to get you to use a coffee filter to recycle your motor oil either.
0 MikeMk6
I guess initially it doesn't look bad until it gets dirty of course. I figured since a lot of silicone based tired shine seems to do the same thing.
