I have two trucks to do.

MrHot88

Question

So a guy saw my SUV and was amazed , he asked me to do his 2005 Ford King Rancher and his 2007 GMC 4x4.

One thousand to do both, full correction and interior shampoo.

I get the Ford on Friday and the GMC on Monday.

A lot of work, hope it's worth the money:)

I'm off all of next week

Pics to come.

Note: the guy asked what products I use, well I told him the truth , Adam's.

Kevin

Should have some amazing before and after pics.

He will order some stuff here after I'm done to maintain his trucks.

LOl, yep, good thing I'm off.

No breaks in between the two trucks, soon as I'm done i'll drop it off and start on the other one.

I hate to clay so that part will suck but I'll get through it:)

I'll be ordering more Adam's after:)

I prefer detailing cars but oh well, this will do.

Started working on the Ford F-150.King Ranch, I'm done with the leather seats, my gosh they were thirsty. Lol

Still another two hours working on the interior then start on the outside, 4x4, so freaking high off the ground.

Pics to come hopefully on Sunday.

A ton of work!!!

I am STILL not done MY 4door F250...... hopefully tomorrow.....  still gotta do P/S doors and then wax roof, seal rims, dress tires,  plastics, and do the inside.... weather hasn't helped and lifted so won't fit in garage.....

Sun came out today and products dried too quick on paint  tons of dust and pad wear.......  ..

but making progress

I gotta get back to working out.... thats easier.....

If a full correction is $1000 for a big truck..... It would be more cost effective  to get it CAMO wrapped.....

You know, now that I worked on this truck I agree, cits so darn big, the interior took 5 hours alone.

Started omit Friday night and will finish it up today then return it to him and take home his other truck, not as big but still very large.

There were thousands of small scratches on the outside of the bed and tail gate, yes thousands.

You see he has a dog that rides in the back on it when going hunting and the dog hangs over it, I got most of them out.

The truck was faded, not much of a shine.

Brillant Glaze on white.

Wow, I was shocked to see what the BG did to it when I applied it, like OMG, look at this shine.

Compound

SHR

FMP

BG

Next up MSS

I spent more hours on the truck then I wanted being I'm only getting 500.00 for the job but no way I turn it in without an Adam's shine.

After the next truck his friend wants metro work on his two Vettes, one being a 68' model.

Hel'll be buying some Adams products to maintain the finish.

I post some before and after pics, the before pics don't show what I saw thugh being its white.

Lol.

No kidding, I feel sore from the last one I did which was complete just yesterday, now I have this one.

First I'll wash it using the two bucket method, wonder what I'll find under all that dirt, I'm scared. Lol

It's sad to let such a nice truck go to crap, it's only been washed once in one year so you can imagine how dirty it is but more important the correction it will need, I'll post more pics as I go.

Plan is,

Two bucket wash using Dawn and a little APC

Clay

SSHR

SHR

FMP

MSS

BG

Then a coat of wax to get the BG to hold up a little longer.

After that I'll start with the interior

Kevin

Brother you are going to sleep after all that is done.

Have to say Adam's polishes works much better than anything I've ever used to go along with my rotary , doesn't dry up when working at 2500 RPM's.

Cuts so fast which cuts my work time in half compared to any other machine.

I'm done with the exterior already , tomorrow I'll start in the very dirty interior.

I'm ordering a a Festool polisher this week, very nice machine per reviews, right now I'm still using my Dewalt which is on the heavy side, the Festool is about have the weight compared to more rotary buffers.

I was able to work the SSHR for as long as I wanted and notvonce did it dry up, amazing.

It wouldn't be fair for me to compare the two being I never used a Flex

I'll say this though, the entire bed was scratched, both sides and in 45 minutes I had them removed, still had to polish more but the scratches were gone.

I'm old school, all I know is my rotary and of course my PC.

People talk about the Flex "walking on them", I don't have that problem but a rotary in the wrong hands will cause DAMAGE!

Since Adams I must say I love my rotary even more, no more products drying on me, his you can work as long as you want without issues.

Can't wait for his compound.

Note: for awhile people left the rotary for other tools but are now returning back, IMHO you can't beat the work a rotary can do for you.

saves your arms too being you don't add any pressure to the buffer.
