Jlaw1313
Has anybody used the new Paint Correcting Polish on a C5? Foam or microfiber pads? I have a used my PC with the SSHR,SHR and foam pads in the past. While the results are good, it takes a long time. Will a Flex help as well with the new system? 0 JHL88
Yea, it took FOREVER on my c5z with a G110v2 (porter cable equivalent) and the old polishes on foam pads. With a Flex, Microfiber pads, and the new polishes it should clear those swirls right up.
0 Holder
Yep, you'll get great results with the Flex, MF pads and PCP/PFP. On a C5 I usually work the polisher at a speed 4.5 to get the best results. Edited January 26, 2014 by A_HoderSS Jlaw1313
0 Rich
Nope. Still do mine by hand.
0 mc2hill
I have done a C5 with the MF pads & PCP and it worked fine. The MF pads save a lot of time when doing correction. I use PFP and a white foam pad to finish.
0 Chris@Adams
The new MF pads seem to speed up the process with any machine.......they work great with the Cyclo.

0 Jlaw1313
Thanks all for your feedback! Just ordered the orange microfiber pads to use with Paint Correcting Polish. I'll give them a try with my PC before springing for a Flex. Would Fine Machine Polish/White Foam Pad be an acceptable method to finish? 0 mc2hill
Would Fine Machine Polish/White Foam Pad be an acceptable method to finish? That will work too. PFP has a longer work time, but this time of year that is not too much of an issue!
0 Marylander
Take your time with this job. I used to have a C5 and let me tell you, the clear on those is hard. It will likely take a number of passes to get the results you want, but it's worth the effort. Post of your pics when you get 'er done, too!
