ADL
When hand sealing (Liquid Paint Sealant) and/or waxing (Buttery) using the hex grip applicators should they be primed with a shot of detail spray like the machine pads?
0 Kingsford
I don't prime them. You may just have to apply more to the pad sooner as it primes itself.
0 Chris@Adams
Just prime them with what ever product you are using.....remember less is more when it comes to product.
0 Team Adam's
Dennis, there's no need for any priming with hand application, especially with sealants, glazes, or waxes. When machine polishing, the DS priming serves as added moisture to combat the drying process as heat is built up, and as the abrasives in the polish are broken down. Neither of these processes happen during hand application, so there's no need to prime.
0 Ricky Bobby
Priming for machine polishing only
