Rich
What a great show!! Holy cow the money there. That's the kind of show that makes me nervous though. All those people with buckles, and purses, and keys to scratch the paint. And strollers!! How'd you manage to score all the free samples to hand out? I'd love to be able to do that. Thanks for posting the pics. Your Vette looked right at home. :2thumbs:

Nitelord
Nice pix, Thanks for posting them up. I always wandered whether you folks that show your cars ever have problem with people being careless around your cars. I think I'd be on pins and needles and all I have is my DD truck. I've never had anything major...just your regular people who don't know that you shouldn't TOUCH othe peoples cars! I also had a lady a few years back with a sweat jacket around her waist run her zipper down the side of my Nova:jawdrop:---minor scratch, but she got an earful!~!! dvalentine
Nice pix, Thanks for posting them up. I always wandered whether you folks that show your cars ever have problem with people being careless around your cars. I think I'd be on pins and needles and all I have is my DD truck. You know ?? I just don't worry about it. I figure that the minor stuff I can handle with my trusty Porter Cable and a brace of Adam's products, if anything "serious" happens I have insurance and a quality painter on speed dial ! Honestly, in the 4 years we have been showing this car only once did a spectator ( 6 year old ) mar the finish by jumping on the running board and hopping in the car when my back was turned. My princess went looking for the mother. I'm real happy she didn't find her. It would NOT have been pretty ! Great pix !!! dv Edited February 26, 2009 by dvalentine

It just depends on the show.. Most of the shows I go to are attended by car guys who have respect for each others cars. The ones that make me nervous are ones like this one......on city streets where anybody and everybody shows up. And kids on bicycles and baby carriages drive me insane. I was at this show and although it was a really nice show, you do have spectators that are curious, ...but not "car people". So, they don't quite understand the pickyness that we car nuts go through. Although, they normally are harmless, there always seems to be one or two that are oblivious about the way their purses or knapsacks swing and bang on the car. Normally, not an issue. But if a kid gets close, typically I get off my butt and sort of guide him or her around the car. But, a great display of cars at this event nonetheless. Nitelord
Well, I'd be such a wreck. I was at a small show in Boyertown PA. Corvettes for kids. It wasn't even the baby carriages or purses. These grown men are just standing around shotin' the s**** and leaning on cars that don't belong to them. It was insane. I suppose you get to know what shows to attend and what ones to avoid. Went to an Adam's detailing demo yesterday in Vancouver Washington and it snowed on us.
