Bugkiller
I have a new car and I have yet to Clay polish wax or seal..... I do plan to clay it and then apply a coat of buttery wax...., my question is do I have to do them both at the same time or can I Clay it one day and then wax it the next day or two? 0 Chris@Adams
Yea you can wait, but just remember that after you clay you will not have any protection, because the claying process will remove most of your wax. Bugkiller

0 mc2hill
I am with Chris, might as well hit it with the Buttery. It should only take 15-20 minutes more. Bugkiller
0 Ricky Bobby
You're hoping it doesnt have any swirls/scratches once you clay and see whats truly under the surface. Dealer prep tends to use waxes with a ton of fillers, so it may look good now but you may have some fine scratches once you remove the dealer's "makeup"....
