BitterGreg
I just recently bought a McCulloch MC1385 Deluxe Canister Steam System. Is it safe to spray Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner to help start breaking up the stains before using the steamer?
0 Ricky Bobby
Yes absolutely. I do this on my couches, I spray the surface down then go over it with the steamer for more effective cleaning power. Then when done I wipe down with a damp MF towel to soak up any residues and dirt that was extracted. You PROBABLY could use a bit of C&U cleaner in the steam machine as well, but I would imagine you'd have to heavily dilute it.
0 Rich
Yep. I use diluted Carpet and Upholstery cleaner on my carpets in our steam cleaner. Works great.
0 txab
Yep. I use diluted Carpet and Upholstery cleaner on my carpets in our steam cleaner. Works great. Are you using it in place of another cleaner or in addition to? What ratio?

0 Ricky Bobby
It should work great, but its not an extractor.
