Buttery wax

Hookers1955

Question

Just curious. . I have always used Americana wax and just applied a coat last month and was wondering would it hurt / help by adding a coat of Buttery wax from time to time ?

Thanks for your input.

Marvin I'd say pick a plan of attack and maintain it as such.

Sealant won't build up like wax will as its bonding to the paint.  You can use HGG weekly or bi-weekly if you wanted to, to maintain the Americana underneath.

But if you start with Americana, then add Buttery, then 2 weeks later HGG, then back to Buttery, you are all over the place IMO.

As the heavyweights here say often, if you like rubbing something onto your paint every few days, Brilliant Glaze would be your product.

Thanks .. so even after the Wax what's your opinion on adding the H20 after a Wash with the wax on ?

Don't want to like you said have a huge build up as it sets in the garage ..

If it were me, I would either top it with wax or with the H2O Guard & Gloss, but not both.  It won't hurt anything, but it just doesn't need both.  For a garage queen, I would probably go with the wax.

edit: What Ricky Bobby said.  He beat me to it.
