Werne1nm
I was sipping down my macbook today and was wondering if i could put glass cleaner and sealant on the screen of my macbook. Should make it pretty easy to get stuff off after the treatment. What do you all think?
0 stripesace
I wouldn't do the sealant... However Glass cleaner... use it all the time.
0 Schell21
i used interior detail the other day on my macbook pro retina - sort of streaky - i will try glass cleaner next time. i would be nervous putting glass sealant on it. my screen is something i do not want to wipe very often as i don't want to introduce scratches. 0 Ricky Bobby
Quick sealant if you need to seal the screen. Use glass cleaner to clean.
0 Kingsford
Glass cleaner yes (not directly onto the screen). Glass sealant... NO! Big No. The screen it's all glass. It has a layer of plastic over it to prevent it from shattering. If you need to validate this. I'm a full time Apple Certified Macintosh Tech. Very well then, should I wait for the rumoured upgrade in Q4 or bite the bullet now with the newly updated 12" macbook? ????
0 Havemeat1
I'd say wait for the rumored MacBook Pro. The 12 inch is good but I prefer the MacBook Pro. Plus it seems it's going to be a big upgrade.

Plus it seems it's going to be a big upgrade.I was going to wait because of the rumoured pretty decent upgrade. I don't need the pro, I can do just the Air as long as it's 15in. And I can't do a fan either so they have to axe that in the pro if they want me in My mac needs a good cleaning so I will try the glass cleaner on it too Edited May 28, 2016 by AvsBest
0 JJ Stin
I use to use Glass Cleaner on my old laptop, since I got a MacBook now. I will use it on there, once I get some more.
