Centexcharger
This is after 1 pass from my hood. Rest of the car was equally as bad. Beemer

0 BrianT
That's rough!! That must have made some serious noise going across the paint!
0 Bryce
I bet that hood was rough!
0 Centexcharger
No clue how long it was on the lot. And the clay sounded like sand paper. Took me cleaning the clay 3-4 times before it finally quit picking stuff up. But after a thorough clay, machine polish, and wax, the paint is buttery smooth and soft. 0 TheWolf
Wow! Looks like there might have been some type of oily residue on the paint.
0 Sizzle Chest
Bet you are glad you did it! Glad you got all that crap off the paint!
0 JDrach
Cars go out on the lot unprotected and sit there for months untouched. It is no surprise to me, for I deal with this often. Every car needs a proper detail when bought, even knew (when most are shocked by this fact).

0 Centexcharger
Exactly why I posted this thread. To show folks who may be questioning why they would need to detail a brand new car.
0 marquez93
Sometimes new cars are the ones that need the most love This is true. Especially if they ever take a train ride on the way to the dealer.
0 pirahnah3
This is true. Especially if they ever take a train ride on the way to the dealer. Or have to sit near the tracks and get covered in rail dust.
0 DREWBUSH
This is from my wifes 2016 Golf, just got it from the dealer. Zero prep by them. It was 2 days later. Dealer has high turn over of vehicles, so it was not sitting for long. And this was just the hood.
