GXPaycheck
So, is this for hard plastic trim or can it be used on rubber weatherstripping as well?
0 gabhart
I'm thinking it will not work well with rubber that flexes a lot. Sounds like when it cures it will be somewhat hard (ceramic) and may crack if flexed too much?
0 Rich
Hard plastic. Adam mentions it is like a ceramic coating. I've never known those to be good for porous things like weatherstripping.
0 TheWolf
So, is this for hard plastic trim or can it be used on rubber weatherstripping as well? Are you referring to exterior rubber trim, or the weather-stripping inside the door jamb? Yes, it can be used on exterior rubber trim. No, it is not for weather-stripping like the kind in door jambs.
