APC for rims?

I am out of wheel cleaner so I was wondering if I could use APC for now? Thanks in advance.

APC will clean a rim. It will not dissolve the brake dust and iron in them though as wheel cleaner does.

 

So the answer to your question is...is depends on your goal.

The quick answer is yes, you can use APC to clean most wheel finishes, but it will not be as effective as Wheel Cleaner, as Shane mentions above.

 

All of the same precautions apply as if you were using Wheel Cleaner:

• Only spray APC on wheels that are cool to the touch
• Clean one wheel at a time. Do not let APC dry onto the wheels
• Do not use APC on bare polished aluminum wheels

Yes, that is full strength. If you follow the tips Dan posted you won't have any issues.
