Dried Americana wax

My Americana wax has started to separate in its container. I recall some people placing the container in hot water to warm the wax helping it bond together.

 

Any input on the steps?

I used a candle warmer on an older tin of Patriot that had shown those symptoms. just turned it on and set the can on it and my office smelled fantastic for the day!

What version Americana do you have? With the previous version, mine did the same thing but I was able to continue using it without issue.

This is I was looking, I received my Americana in a Mystery Box so I assume it was the old version. It's just starting to crack a little, should it get worse I'll have to melt it.

Just to clarify, old version of Americana = wax is white in color, new current version of Americana = wax is blue in color

I just had this same issue last weekend. It was cold in the garage so I had an electric heater going. I took my big ol vat of Americana and set it in front of the heater checking it from time to time and it all melted together in a nice new smooth block. wish I had thoought about the candle warmer . That would have been easier.
