UofAZCats
I have the factory installed matte black vinyl stripes on the hood and tailgate. Is it alright to use the clay bar on these stripes? Anyone have any experience with this?
0 PaintTech
I had them on the 13' Charger Daytona I had. I used an old blue clay bar from Adams and it went fine. The blue was softer and less aggressive than the grey clay. I kept it HEAVILLY lubricated. These were factory installed... the whole roof was black vinyl too. I dressed it with VRT and knocked it down with a dry MF. Maybe the newer Matte Detailer would be a better option? Photo is the only one I have with the hood down. Forgive my self-made meme.
