Mariner Posted August 26, 2017 Share Posted August 26, 2017 (edited) I hope anybody here on AF that lives in this region or has family/friends there has either evacuated or live on high ground. I've attached some pics showing ship activity off the coast right now. I have been to Corpus Christi many times and I have never seen the bay and anchorage cleared out like this. You can even see the ships under power and lined up heading out of Galveston. All my buddies down there on drill ships even abandoned their wells to head east. If anybody here is affected please recognize the severity of these storms. I had good friends and fellow graduates go down aboard the container ship El Faro over a year ago now in a hurricane off the coast of Puerto Rico. So to anyone in the affected area, good luck, stay safe, and God bless.
