VRT Run

rwysowaty

Question

I used VRT on my new 2019 RAM 1500, it rained maybe 3 days later and it streaked down the side of parts of my trucks paint. Does it need to be wiped with a towel to have excess taken away or am I missing something?

Ryan, what I generally do after I use VRT is drive the wife's vehicle.  Wiping it down does help, try using less and wiping more to not waste any product.

But it is normal. to have some. Unless you knock it down enough. I just wanted to check.

Yes, it's normal. I love VRT, but if you want to lock in that new truck look, you should strongly consider the trim coating. Prep on a  new vehicle will be a breeze, and it'll keep your trim looking sharp for a long time to come.
