Wheel cleaner stain left on too long

Hi all,

i left some of the Adam’s wheel cleaner on my freshly painted wheels accidentally and there are stains that I can’t seem to get out now. Any ideas on how I can remove these?

These are alloy wheels with a duplicolor metallic wheel coating and clear coat.

You could try a polish and see if that helps.

I would maybe try hand polishing first, I’m not sure how durable that paint is, and wouldn’t want to just peel it off.  Is the surface of the wheel smooth? I

Yeah surface is pretty smooth. I recently sanded down the dings and bad curb rash then filled with bondo. Sanded the whole wheel, not down to bare metal, primed, painted, cleared.

Maybe try some polish on a rag with your f8nger since the wheels are cleared.
