Fixing boat clear coat/gelcoat

Maverick9110e

Question

Hey gang! Picked up a new to me boat.  It's an 88 and in fairly good shape.  What would you recommend for trying to bring back the gelcoat/celar coat on this? It has a bit of a white haze over it.  Tried to get a picture of it but was tough to get it to come out in the photo so hope it makes sense.

I love Adams but there's so many products I'm a bit lost?.  Compound then polish then glaze? Should I bother with the scratch and swirl remover too?

Yea I figured as much, not to mention the surface area is rather massive on 26 feet of boat. What would you say that haze is exactly? Is the clear coat faded? Thinking if I can understand the the concept I may be better able to correct it as well.  That and a big container of compound, lol.

Not owning a boat I'm not exactly sure, but other members on here will probably chime in. That said, is it a fresh or saltwater boat? Stored in or out of the water?

And yes, compound will be your friend! That, and a lot of pads. haha
