0 Superdutytd
Hopefully it didn't damage the chrome, i take it you've tried QD? Maybe some GWC? Good chrome is pretty hard to scratch.

0 Rich
That's bad news. Could be his chrome is permanantly etched now. I'd try the metal polish and a micro by hand, or even the pc if it's real bad, even if it just shines it up a bit.

0 Sundog Detailing
Is Adam's metal polish safe on chrome I take it? I have used the metal polish on chrome with great success, however I still have the old #1 and use #2 on the chrome. I think the new formula would be safe as well, Adam's metal polish is not abrasive but Adam can better explain how it works, I do believe it involves a chemical reaction of some sort. 0 Superdutytd
Yea I'm kind of worried to use this stuff on mirror polished applications because I just don't see how you could have a compromise?

0 Baron_Von_Awesome
Hopefully the valve covers weren't piping hot when he sprayed it on there If you have the 4" pads, use the black or white pad with some metal polish - that will knock it out really quick.
