0 ozarkj
I've always applied an ice cube on the gum for a minute or so and than use the back side of a butter knife(the blunt edge) to scrape it off. If it's really ground in it may take a couple of trys. The ice hardens it so it will come off.

0 70'sChevyGirl
Gum blows. I have no clue how to get gum out. I remember as a child going to bed with gum in my mouth only to wake up with it stuck in my hair. Mom got the scissors out.
0 Marylander
Put the mat in your freezer overnight. In the morning the gum will be frozen and you can just scrape it off.

I'd use a razor blade to cut it out or scrape it off from there. The things I learn around here!!
