being that you're in Hawaii do what I've done.

 

park you car out in the sun on a really bright day and let the sticker get nice and gooey. Then peal it off and use whatever solvent you want to get the glue off. I've used gasoline and then just cleaned and rewaxed that area.

A blow dryer is the way to go. After that if you have any residue the 3M stuff works great and so does Goof Off. Take some before and after pictures if you get a chance.

 

Where abouts in Hawaii are you? I was stationed at Schofield Barracks for 3 years. I loved it there.
