DP 08 GXP Posted December 17, 2009 Share Posted December 17, 2009 i was wondering what would be better to use on my clearcoated rims. after i have cleaned them up i would like to get a nice shine off of them so i was wondering if i should use the metal polish, BSG, or something else? thanks!!! Chewy Posted December 17, 2009 Share Posted December 17, 2009 Don't use metal polish on clear coated rims... I'd use MSW for long lasting protection. You can use BSG on them to make them pop a bit more but wait 12 or so hours before doing so and wipe down with MF before applying the BSG. I have a 2009 Nissan Titan SE 4x4 i would say your titan is clear coated. Mostly anything from the factory is clear coted.
