mc2hill
My company moved into a new building last week and I now have access to a parking garage. Does anyone have any tips, "do's and don'ts", or other things to look out for when using the garage? BTW, in our old building we had a parking garage that I have parked in few times. It always seemed to drip something on my hood.

And even if you risk getting uro-misotisis, no peeing in any corners What building are you in now?
70'sChevyGirl
I agree with Mike. Try to get the corner or end spots where you have fewer chances of getting door dings from the idiots that don't care what they drive.
ExpressThis13
every time i go out we have to park in a parking garage and I always park on the end spots, backed in and as close to the wall as possible. If you dont and have a good amount of car sticking out its possible for it to get hit like my Intrepid did a year ago. wasnt bad but still had to replace the rear bumper and it was a hit and run. ExpressThis13
oh yeah I always try to park on the level with the least amount of cars as the people who dont really care will try to get the closest parking spot to the door thus keeping them away from your car. Z71_Denali
i only drive my car on fridays to work, and when i do, i park on the top level that is still covered, in the very back corner... not a car in sight for at least 20 spaces!!!

MustangBrother
Just like everyone said, get end spots. My work's parking garage also drips some sort of goo, and its hard to clean off sometimes too. In my garage you can see the residue from where it drips on the ceiling, so just look out for that too.

scuba_cyclist
Like many said end and corner spots. One other, find others that take care of their cars as well and try to get these people to park next to each other. That is what I do at work. BrianT
I try to find a friend that keeps his/her car as clean as mine(meaning they take of it) and park next to them all the time. That way you both understand that being careful is important and you both will not damage each others cars on accident.
