CJ_DK
And today is one of those days where I hate being perfectionist. Normally I paint cars and only polishes repair-area together, but a well known client delivered me one of his company cars today. The company is doing some kind of steel productions, so they are welding and cutting steel around the cars - YES! Now you probably got an idea how the paint looks like. I don't know the English word for rust particles in the paint, but directly translated it would be flying rust... (the pictures are not so good, I don't bring in my Digicam in this dusty environment.) So much rust where removed from the surface just by using the clay bar. After 10 hours the company van is done ( I forgot a close up pic) Well it was not that bad, but "unfortunately" the client was so satisfied by the results that he decided that all his cars should have a "make-over".... That's 40... FORTY vans, and I'm just a little girl

Superdutytd
Thats CRAZY how many iron particles were on the paint. White is a color it seems like people don't realize starts to look not-so-white after while until properly clay barred and polished. Also in English its "company". I feel your pain with translation as I've taken some foreign languages courses.

CJ_DK
Today I'd remember to take a before/after pic. Van #2 - 38 more go to I've been using clay bar and a power cut polish, swirl remover and sealant I'll give it AFTER painting the damage on the rear end. Those two procucts contains silicone - and thats really not good for the paintjob. But its a tough job because Im not used to polish that much at one time. Normally polish-job it like this: Basecoat: Clearcoat: 10mins at 60° C and the paint is dry and when its cooled down it can be polished. And done.. I get "well" payed, but in DK 45% of my income goes to taxes. And the cars are expensive too, so thats why I make e repair on a old Ford Focus
