Laguna
My dad was complaining that he lost his "pop" to the color/metallic of his truck. First off, **** this thing is a lot of paint. Secondly, sorry I took such CRAPPY pictures, I don't know what was wrong with me. I'm pretty upset at the pictures. Washed and clayed the car. Went over it with SHR, FMP and the MSW. Lots of scratches and issues everywhere. Not really a lot of swirls, but scratches on almost every panel. The engine bay was nasty too. Now everything looks pretty, everything is popping and where it should be. The picture of the pad is after day 1 and only about 3 panels. The picture of the DS is from claying. That bottle was full when I started, so wanted to show how much DS I use on this size of a vehicle when it comes to claying. I'm like Junkman and I soak the car. The back 50/50 I took just put me in awe. It's crazy how different it looks. That was repainted twice too and it was the WORST part of the car. That 50/50 shot was only after 2x pass with SHR and 1x pass with FMP, crazy how easy it was just to correct that and make it look so much more beautiful. Used the yellow pad a few times as well. Doug123
Eeesh. Got some stuff off that paint! Did anyone use something pigmented on this to try and hide the scratches? I was just wondering about the discolored pads. It sure looks good on the after shots, nice job.
Laguna
I don't wash after claying, so that would be the cause of the dirty pads.
