ArmyAcadia09 Posted August 23, 2010 Share Posted August 23, 2010 Well, I was finally able to get a good deal on a GMC Acadia to get the wife ready for my deployment (the old car had 126K on it and made me nervous). So my dealer in Waco called me and told me they had an 09 Acadia SLT(with only 7200 miles on it) with leather and a lot of extras for $30k so we went and saw and obviously, bought. So once home I washed it using Adams Car Shampoo and followed it up with clay, SHR, FMP, and MSW. I have Americana but still contemplating whether I'll be able to throw some on before I leave, maybe tomorrow night. Also used the usual suspects (VRT, APC, In and Out) on all trim and such. Also used APC and MP #1 on the 4 exhaust tips which turned out really nice and shiny. The car looks really good and I am really pleased with the way it turned out as well as the In and Out spray working amazing on the honeycomb. Would like to give a special thanks to Dylan "The Man" Von Kleist! for answering my emails on Saturday AND Sunday! Dusten Posted August 24, 2010 Share Posted August 24, 2010 I have a white '09 Acadia for my wife. She uses it as a daily driver and we use it for long trips. We really like the car. I will have to say I enjoy the onstar and the stats you can get from it. On the months that we take our long trips we hit daily averages of 60 miles. We have 22K miles on it and it sill looks good.
