DanFish Posted August 29, 2010 Share Posted August 29, 2010 Well she is finally finished! Started working on her Friday morning, woke up at 6 and had the car washed twice and clayed by 8am. The clay bar turned brown there was so much garbage on the paint. After all claying was done it was time to start attacking the swirls with SHR and the orange pad, spent about an hour and a half on the hood alone trying to get it prefect, managed to finish the hood with SHR and FMP by afternoon and called it quits as the sun was just about overhead. All in all it was a 3 day process, and I’ll list all products used below: Adams: Car Wash Shampoo Bucket with Grit Guard premium wash mitt Clay Bar All Purpose Cleaner Detail Spray Waterless Car Wash Waterless Wash Towels Great White Drying Towel VRT 4 inch focus pads Swirl and Haze Remover Fine Machine Polish Machine Super Wax Double Plush Micro Fiber Towels I’m sure I’m forgetting something! Before: You can see my neglected car in the background After the first wash and tires cleaned Swirl City More Swirls everywhere The product at hand Everyone needs a minor injury when detailing And, drum roll please, the finished product!
